REGULATIONS OF THE EVENT
“Sounds of Veritas Festival”
§1 GENERAL PROVISIONS
1. From July 2 to July 6, 2026, the Veritas Foundation, with its registered office in Wrocław at ul. Skarbowców 23B/A1/014, 53-025 Wrocław, Tax ID (NIP): 8992861984, KRS: 0000784405, hereinafter referred to as the Organizer, organizes an event called “Sounds of Veritas Festival”, hereinafter referred to as the Festival, held at Stara Morawa 7, 57-550 Stara Morawa, hereinafter referred to as the Festival Grounds.
2. These Regulations define the conditions of participation and the rules of conduct for persons present at the Festival, hereinafter referred to as Participants, including organizational and safety provisions governing:
a) admission of Participants to the Festival,
b) rights and obligations of Participants,
c) prohibitions that Participants are required to observe,
d) rules of liability of persons, including Participants, for conduct contrary to applicable law, including violations of these Regulations.
3. The purpose of these Regulations is to ensure the safety of the Festival by defining the rules of conduct for Participants and the principles for using the Festival Grounds and the equipment located therein, as well as to regulate the rights and obligations of Participants in connection with admission to the Festival.
4. Regardless of the provisions of these Regulations, all Participants are required to comply with:
a) applicable laws and regulations.
b) Each Participant is obliged to familiarize themselves with these Regulations, and participation in the Festival constitutes acceptance of the Regulations by the Participant.
5. Due to the nature of the Festival, the Organizer does not provide health insurance (including insurance against accidents). Participants may obtain insurance on their own. The Organizer shall not be liable for any random events resulting in loss of health or life.
6. As a rule, the Festival does not constitute a mass event within the meaning of the Act of March 20, 2009 on the Safety of Mass Events (Journal of Laws 2009 No. 62, item 504, as amended).
§2 ADMISSION TO THE FESTIVAL
1. Admission to the Festival is free of charge.
2. Admission to the Festival is subject to registration on the website https://soundsofveritasfestival.com/, downloading and presenting a personalized ticket with a QR code, which upon first entry to the Festival Grounds will be exchanged for an identification wristband.
3. In accordance with applicable law, the Organizer may refuse admission to the Festival to:a) a person who is visibly under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, psychotropic substances, or other similarly acting substances, in particular those increasing aggression,<br>b) a person in possession of weapons or other dangerous items, explosives, pyrotechnic products, fireworks, firecrackers (including noise-generating ones), flammable materials, alcoholic beverages, or narcotic substances,<br>
c) a person unable to confirm their identity,
d) a person behaving aggressively, provocatively, or otherwise posing a threat to safety or public order,
e) a person not wearing an identification wristband.
4. The assessment of items and their qualification as dangerous shall be the responsibility of persons authorized by the Organizer to ensure order and safety at the Festival (hereinafter referred to as the Security Services), who are identified by appropriate identification badges.
5. The Organizer may refuse permission to bring in or use professional photographic equipment, video cameras, or other professional image or sound recording devices at the Festival. The use of amateur cameras and mobile phones with recording functions is permitted.
6. If a Festival Participant is under 16 years of age, they may attend the Festival only under the supervision of an adult. The supervising adult bears full responsibility for the minor while they are present on the Festival Grounds, from the moment of entry until departure. A minor under 18 years of age may attend the Festival with the written consent of a legal guardian.
§3 ORGANIZATIONAL AND ORDER RULES APPLICABLE DURING THE FESTIVAL
1. The Organizer ensures the safety of Participants and the maintenance of order during the Festival, in particular through designated security and order services (hereinafter referred to as the Security Services).
2. The Security Services may issue their own safety instructions, including epidemiological and fire safety instructions, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
3. The Security Services are authorized to:
a) verify the identity of persons for identification purposes,
b) inspect luggage and clothing in cases where there is a suspicion that prohibited or dangerous items are being brought onto or possessed on the Festival Grounds,
c) issue order-related instructions to persons disturbing public order or behaving contrary to these Regulations,
d) detain — for the purpose of immediate handover to the police — persons posing a direct threat to protected property or persons committing prohibited acts.
4. Participants and all other persons present at the Festival are obliged to comply with the instructions of the Security Services. Refusal to comply may occur only if such instructions are contrary to generally applicable laws.
5. The following are prohibited on the Festival Grounds:
a) undertaking actions aimed at interrupting or disrupting the course of the Festival;
b) using offensive or vulgar language, promoting or displaying vulgar or racist slogans, and inciting conflicts, in particular on racial, national, religious, social, or sexual grounds;
c) displaying banners or signs not previously approved by the Organizer;
d) throwing any objects;
e) lighting fires and smoking tobacco in areas where it is prohibited;
f) relieving physiological needs outside designated toilet facilities;
g) littering;
h) blocking exits and evacuation routes;
i) bringing in, possessing, or using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), drones, or other airborne objects without the Organizer’s consent;
j) bringing in or using cameras, audio or video recording equipment, or photographic equipment intended for professional use, including cameras with interchangeable lenses or zoom lenses exceeding 6x. Photographs may be taken solely for private use, provided that they do not obstruct the view of the stage or disturb other attendees.
6. Festival Participants and all other persons present on the Festival Grounds are required to behave in a manner that does not endanger the safety of others and, in particular, to comply with these Regulations. It is prohibited to damage signs and information boards, advertising materials, devices, or equipment located on the Festival Grounds, as well as any other property. Participants are required to use sanitary facilities only in accordance with their intended purpose.
7. Any commercial, profit-making, advertising, or promotional activities on the Festival Grounds are prohibited without the prior authorization of the Organizer.
8. During the Festival, the Organizer, Participants, and all other persons present on the Festival Grounds are obliged to comply with the provisions of the Act of 26 October 1982 on Upbringing in Sobriety and Counteracting Alcoholism.
9. A total ban applies on lighting campfires, grills, and using any form of open fire on the Festival Grounds, except in areas expressly designated by the Organizer.
§4 RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF PARTICIPANTS
§5 PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
1. The administrator of the personal data of the Participants is the Veritas Foundation, with its registered office in Wrocław, ul. Skarbowców 23B/A1/014, postal code 53-025, KRS: 0000784405, NIP: 8992861984, REGON: 38326172.
2. The personal data of the Participants will be processed in connection with the organization of the Festival, including for the purposes of documentation, promotion, and advertising of the Festival, as well as the promotion and advertising of the Organizer and the Festival’s sponsors (including the image of Participants).
3. Providing personal data and granting consent to their processing is voluntary but necessary in order to participate in the Festival and to achieve the purposes referred to in section 2 above. Failure to provide personal data or to grant consent for their processing makes participation in the Festival impossible.
4. The personal data of the Participants may be disclosed to employees, collaborators, and subcontractors of the Organizer to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes specified in section 2 above.
5. Consent to the processing of personal data may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal. For the withdrawal of consent to be effective, it is sufficient to submit a written statement in any form that enables the administrator to become acquainted with the will of the data subject.
6. Withdrawal of consent is equivalent to resignation from participation in the Festival.
7. Personal data will not be transferred to third countries.
8. Every person whose data is processed has the right to access their personal data, rectify it, request its erasure, restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the President of the Personal Data Protection Office — if the data is processed unlawfully.
9. Photographs taken during the Festival may be used in promotional and advertising materials of the Festival and the Organizer. Participation in the Festival constitutes consent to the free use of the Participant’s image recorded in the form of photographs or video recordings and the granting to the Organizer of a royalty-free license to use such image in all fields of exploitation, including fixation and dissemination in any form, storage in computer memory, use for the promotion and organization of the Festival by the Organizer, sharing with Festival sponsors and Organizer’s partners for promotional purposes in connection with the Festival, and publication in Festival-related materials, printed promotional materials of the Organizer, press publications, websites, as well as television and radio broadcasts.
10. Acceptance of these Regulations is required in order to participate in the Festival. Failure to accept the Regulations constitutes resignation from participation in the Festival.
§6 FINAL PROVISIONS
1. Sponsor status of the Festival may be granted exclusively by the Organizer.
2. The Organizer reserves the right to:
a) introduce changes to the course of the Festival due to unforeseen, unavoidable, and Organizer-independent circumstances, as well as the right to determine and modify the artistic, substantive, and time-related program without prior consultation or compensation;b) cancel or withdraw from organizing the Festival for reasons beyond the Organizer’s control, without prior notice and without the obligation to provide compensation or damages to any persons;<br>
c) pursue claims for damages caused by a Participant, including damages resulting from harm to the Organizer’s reputation or good name;
d) invalidate invitations, identification wristbands, or other documents authorizing access to Festival areas not open to the general public, in accordance with applicable laws.
3. The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Regulations, in particular where necessary to ensure the proper course of the Festival and the safety of Participants. Information about amendments to the Regulations will be published on the Festival’s website: https://soundsofveritasfestival.com/.
4. The Organizer shall not be liable for the consequences of force majeure. Force majeure shall be understood as an event beyond the Organizer’s control which renders the performance of obligations impossible or may reasonably be considered impossible due to the circumstances. Force majeure includes, in particular: adverse weather conditions, failures or disruptions of electricity, heating, or lighting supply systems, acts of war, or actions of state or local authorities in the area of policy-making, laws, or regulations affecting the performance of obligations.
5. In the event of changes to the Festival date, program, or location due to force majeure or other reasons beyond the Organizer’s control, the Organizer shall not be liable for such changes.
6. In matters not regulated by these Regulations, decisions shall be made by the Organizer.
7. In matters not regulated herein, the generally applicable provisions of law shall apply.
